The staff here were all very friendly, and the location by the sea in Veules les Roses was exceptional, making our one-night stay great.

Friendly people and lovely garden. This was a chambre D'hote rather than a hotel. We would recommend it in that category.

The staff was friendly and the host too. The hotel rooms were huge and romantic with large bed and crisp white bed linen. The staff served butter, slices of fresh bread, and jam for breakfast.

The owners were very friendly and we enjoyed breakfast round the large dining room table which was well laid out. It was nice to meet people from different countries and engage them in conversation during the meal as had it been separate tables this would not have happened. It is obvioulsy their home that they are sharing with you and the owner is an artist and her paintings are all over the house. The house sits in its own park with very, very old tress - a lovely setting.
There is no lift and being on the second floor it was 45 stairs each time we went up or down. Ages between 64 and 80 so was a bit of a problem - we tried to take everything down with us in the morning and not return again till near bed time.

This is a delightful establishment run in a relaxed manner. The Iris room was excellent. Breakfast was ample and delicious. The location is highly convenient.
The hosts could usefully provide a little more information about the environs and an indication of restaurant closing days would be helpful (as would advice on the need to book a table). Sunday evening was difficult! (But we got into the Auberge de l'etang which was very good!)

We appreciated the fresh bread and croissants provided, although we didn't get to sample everything they offered.

Our Circumstances: Three men riding their motorbikes across France over a few days, and the Event used for a single night stay. First impression was I should have brought the wife, not father and best friend. However we then met 'Bill'. What great guy. Very friendly, very helpful and did everything he could for us to enjoy our day/night. We were allowed to get in early even though they had not finished cleaning, he directed us to the local Tabc for a very localised four course meal (which although I am sure not to evryones liking we loved it) it was great to eat as a french man. Then we had a price for a taxi £60 return!!!!!!!!, who stepped up, Bill, took us brought us back, gave us a local tour and even had beers with us, then got us inat the Casino as well. In all the location, and stay were not what we would have choosen if we had known, however Bill made it for us, great place, location a little out the way but bill sorted it, and great host's. All in all we thank you and wish the Event all the very best. Dan, Chris and André. Bon Chancé.
Just location, but smooth talk Bill and you'll be fine.

it is a relaxing place and the hosts are great. You do not need to tiptoe around the house and can use the garden to have lunch and play at the tennis court. For a family weekend with children it was very convenient and there is a lovely market in Luneray, beaches nearby and good restaurants (for everyone's taste) and laid back places (in Quiberville). We felt very welcome and had lots of fun.
